FORMER Love Island star Zara McDermott has raked in around £1m in just two years from her money-spinning TV work.
The ex-Department for Education civil servant shot to fame when she joined the reality TV show in 2018.

And after quitting her office job, she’s never looked back.
Zara – now dating One Direction star Louis Tomlinson – has appeared in Made in Chelsea and on Strictly.
She’s also landed hosting jobs in the shape of fronting BBC documentaries about revenge porn, eating disorders and rape culture.
And her success is reflected in the books of her firm Zara Nicole McDermott Ltd which has more than £300,000 in cash in its coffers.
Annual accounts show that over the course of 2022 and 2022 she paid around £170,000 in Corporation Tax which points to a taxable income of approaching £1m.
And Zara, 28, has snapped up a brand-new London property of her own – to the tune of approximately £500,000 – with her wealth.
The pad is located in West London and said to be near to ex Sam Thompson’s Chelsea house and she completed the sale using a second firm in her name.
A source told us: “She bought it this month under her company name, it’s a two-bed flat in a nice area and weirdly, not that far from where she lived with Sam.
“It will make it really awkward when they cross paths at the local pub or in a coffee shop, though.”
Zara and Sam’s home they once shared together left their pals green with envy after they built a cinema during renovations in 2023.
It featured heavily in the ex-couple’s social media videos to their millions of fans.
Before Sam moved into the property in 2018, he had given the mansion a complete refurbishment.
