Originally from Roswell, Georgia, Brit began her career in high school as a model, featuring in music videos, commercials, and films. However, after the sudden death of her father in 2015, she shifted her focus to entrepreneurship.

In 2020, Brit founded her own insurance agency under Allstate, which she sold after two years. She then launched Agency Jumpstart, an educational platform designed to help aspiring insurance agents. Additionally, Brit has ventured into fashion with her shapewear and clothing line, Bare and Naked, and a jewelry brand named Twelve Twenty Nine
A Georgia native, Brit Eady is also known for her role as a wife and dog mom in RHOA season 16. However, Eady’s tenure on RHOA has been controversial. As per People Magazine, she has recently filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production companies True Original and Endemol Shine North America.
Brit Eady is currently seeking the removal of the episode from public access, a public acknowledgment of the false depiction, and compensation, including legal fees. As per TMZ, in a statement on her Instagram Stories, Eady expressed her devastation over the events and wrote:
I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic s*xual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me. I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me. I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life.
The allegations originate from the June 2024 filming of the show and its airing of questionable content in April 2025, in an episode called About Last Night. She claimed that cable television network Bravo allowed viewers to believe she was the person shown in a sexually explicit photo, which stirred up a controversy.
Exploring the details of the lawsuit filed by Brit Eady

The lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday, June 5, in New York State Supreme Court, alleges defamation, s*xual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and the creation of a hostile work environment.
The controversy centers around an incident in Episode 5 of the season, where fellow cast member Kenya Moore displayed a poster featuring explicit images during Eady’s hair spa opening event.
In her lawsuit, Eady claimed that the posters appeared to show her performing or*l s*x , and she further stated Bravo “falsely yet unmistakably implied” it was her. Eady further contended that the image was not of her and claimed that she was not shown the photo before the episode’s airing.
In the legal documents reviewed by The Independent, Eady’s attorney stated:
Moore also displayed posters containing written false and defamatory statements regarding Plaintiff and her occupation, as well as an explicit photograph depicting a woman engaged in graphic s*xual conduct. The cast member falsely claimed that the photograph depicted the Plaintiff.
On the other hand, following the incident, Moore was suspended from the series and did not attend the Season 16 reunion. Meanwhile, Bravo has declined to comment on the matter.
However, despite the challenges, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has continued to focus on her entrepreneurial endeavors and personal life. Her experiences on RHOA have brought to attention issues of questionable workplace conduct and violation of personal boundaries within the reality television realm.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently available for streaming on Peacock, Bravo TV, and Amazon Prime Video.
