Programme Overview
The Electrician Apprenticeship Programme provides an opportunity for eligible graduates to acquire hands-on technical experience, essential for career development in the electrical trade.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have completed Report 191/NATED N6 in Electrical Engineering
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must reside in Gauteng
- Preference will be given to Western TVET College students
Required Documents
Ensure that you submit the following certified documents (not older than 6 months):
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Two certified colour copies of ID
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate
- N6 certificates or statement of results in Electrical Engineering
- Signed and stamped academic record
- Affidavit confirming unemployment
- Affidavit confirming non-participation in SETA-funded programmes
- Proof of banking details (bank confirmation letter)
- SARS letter with your tax number
