Since SummerSlam 2023, Brock Lesnar, aka “The Beast Incarnate,” has not been seen in the squared ring. Lesnar was supposed to return as a competitor in the men’s Royal Rumble match in the 2024 Royal Rumble PLE.
The lawsuit that former WWE employee Janel Grant brought prevented all of that. He was removed from all of the story plans. Lesnar was taken out of WWE’s original plans for WrestleMania XL after being replaced by Bron Breakker in the 2024 Royal Rumble.
Brock Lesnar is wishy-washy about his return
After Brock Lesnar’s role in the Vince McMahon case, the Stamford-based promotion severed ties with him. They eliminated any mention of him from their programming, and it doesn’t seem probable that he will make a comeback until the lawsuit is resolved.

WWE fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback, so every reference to the Beast Incarnate creates a lot of excitement. Although Lesnar hasn’t been observed very much, a new sighting has raised questions.
According to Ringside News, earlier this week, Brock Lesnar was seen at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas. The former WWE Champion responded succinctly to their correspondent’s question regarding a possible WWE comeback by stating, “We’ll see.”
Fans are once again interested in Brock Lesnar’s comeback because of this cryptic remark, especially in light of the current roster’s abundance of superstars. His inclusion would increase the excitement and anticipation for his possible return by opening the door to several fascinating narratives.
Possible opponents of Brock Lesnar
Several fascinating stories can be built around Brock Lesnar. The most obvious one is him vs heel John Cena but there are a lot more intriguing options he can choose.

He could face Drew McIntyre. Lesnar could compare this McIntyre to the one who defeated him at Wrestlemania 36 and say that the “Scottish Warrior” has disappointed him since then. Lesnar could compare him to someone like Cody Rhodes or Jey Uso whose careers have skyrocketed.
Lesnar could also face Gunther or Bron Breakker. Hoss vs Hoss fights always make the people salivate. Gunther is the new monster WWE is creating and Breakker is an absolute star whenever he is in the ring. Both are hosses and will match up with Brock well. Lesnar can put over the new monsters of WWE.
Speaking of hosses, how can we forget about NXT’s own Oba Femi? He has had a Lesnar-esque style rise and is now the NXT champion. He is the “monster” of the NXT roster. Oba Femi vs. “The Beast Incarnate” will be a barn burner. It will be the “Next Big Thing” vs the former “Next Big Thing”.
Lesnar can also face his supposed-to-be Wrestlemania 40 opponent Dominik Mysterio. Dominik can avoid him for weeks and it will lead to some really hilarious segments. Mysterio and Lesnar can have a fun match together as well. The lucha style of Mysterio will mix well with Lesnar’s style of wrestling.
These are all the possible opponents that Lesnar can face and put over. It is a shame he can’t because he is named in a sex trafficking lawsuit involving his former boss.
