In true Gangs of London-style, the show did not hold back on its violent scenes with it airing one of its most shocking moments ever which saw a gangster almost incinerated after being flung onto a high-speed waltzer ride during a showdown at a fairground.

In the show premier, Eliot Finch and Luan are working together to hunt down who is responsible for a poisoned batch of cocaine which has seen countless drug users across London killed within seconds of taking it.

They become determined to locate who could be behind the mystery and soon realise that a truck containing the packages of the drug made a stop by a fairground site inhabited by notorious gangsters.

Eliot and Luan are forced to take a trip to the site and it does not take long before things to turn nasty with the duo coming face-to-face with five gun and knife-wielding individuals.

With Eliot keen to learn if they know the identity of the person they think is responsible, the gang remain quiet and soon one insists the pair should “f*** themselves” and get off their land.

This comment sends Luan furious as he brutally shoots the said gangster in the head.

A horror game of hide-and-seek then breaks out across the fairground site with the remaining four members of the gang aiming to hunt down and kill Eliot and Laun.

Constant gunfire rings out as they come face-to-face across the site including in a hall of mirrors.

The gang’s leader then heads out to hunt Eliot with a loaded gun.

In an explosive confrontation, Eliot uses a whack-a-mole prop to hit the man in question as he shoots back in retaliation.

They are then locked in a furious punch-up, with a knife now having come into play.

As Eliot gets slashed across his stomach he soon manages to launch the gangster into the air and throw him onto the high-speed moving waltzer.

Blood splatters across the ride as the man’s body is flung onto the railings of the ride in the horrifically gory scene.

The horror scenes comes after the show opened with one of its most grisly openings to date.

In spine-chilling scenes, a woman and her young son were caught up in a high-speed road chase which saw another vehicle try and ram them off the road.

Whilst they managed to come away largely unscathed, a huge 18-wheeler truck soon crashed into them in the middle of the road, flipping their car with it soon catching flames.

The woman and her young child soon died when the entire vehicle exploded.

It later transpires that it was Eliot’s wife and son who were inside the car – prompting him to continue to seek for answers as to what happened throughout the rest of the series, including a confrontation with the notorious Sean Wallace.
