AN urgent appeal has been issued for information on a woman, 60, missing from a Donegal town as Gardai plea for assistance.
Kathleen Nic Giolbhain was reported missing in Letterkenny this Friday.
Gardai are seeking the public’s help in locating Kathleen after she was last seen in Letterkenny on Friday, March 14.
Her family have not heard from her since then and there have been no other forms of communication made by Kathleen.
This has left Gardai to launch an investigation into her whereabouts.
In a statement, a garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Kathleen Nic Giollbhain (60) who was reported missing from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal on Friday, 14th March 2025.
“The missing woman is described as being around 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a slim build and dark grey hair with blue eyes.
“It is not known what Kathleen was wearing when she was last seen.”
Authorities are hoping someone in the public may have information that could help track her down.
Gardai are now asking anyone who has seen Kathleen or knows where she may be to get in touch Letterkenny Garda Station in the town.
Alternatively, the Garda Confidential Line is also available – and individuals can contact any Garda station with relevant information.
Gardai added: “Anyone with information on Kathleen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on (074) 9167100, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
