Sylvester Stallone is set to return, reigniting his mafia empire in the heart of Oklahoma. Paramount+ has given Tulsa King Season 3 the green light, promising even more action, intrigue, and unforgettable moments from the underworld tale.
For two seasons, Dwight “The General” Manfredi’s character, played by Stallone, has gone through a series of cabal, and ending Season 2 with a cliffhanger was the right direction.

With the lead mafia lord returning, the fans must give up on Taylor Sheridan’s showmanship as Dave Erickson replaces him in the third installment. Paramount+ has begun production in Atlanta and Oklahoma, and although there is no specific date on the plate, the audience can expect to witness the crime thrill slated around the end of this year.
Tulsa King Season 3 replaces Taylor Sheridan with Fear The Walking Dead‘s Dave Erickson

With Taylor Sheridan saying farewell to the underworld of Tulsa King, the creative leadership has now been handed over to Dave Erickson. Erickson will also take over another project previously overseen by Sheridan, Mayor of Kingstown. Additionally, Erickson has had a successful year, securing a multi-year overall deal with MTV Entertainment Studios.
Despite a successful run, the series has constantly witnessed behind-the-scenes shifts. Season 1’s chief showrunner, Terence Winter, stepped down in Season 2 to head the writing team due to alleged creative differences with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
Another writer, Craig Zisk, was welcomed on board with Winter, and the two worked in tantum to handle the on-the-ground production and writing duties, respectively. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
For this season, Sheridan is the missing piece from the puzzle, which might bring some creative changes to the series. However, Sheridan will serve as the executive producer, and with actors like Sylvester Stallone and Martin Star returning, the series can’t be missed.
