DRIVERS are facing huge delays on the M25 after a multi-car crash closed part of the major motorway.
The motorway is closed anti-clockwise in Essex between J30 (Thurrock) and J29 (Upminster) due to the horror collision.
The clockwise carriageway has one lane closed just after the Bell Common Tunnel, causing traffic to build in the area.
Roadworks in the area are contributing to the congestion, after the incident occurred at around 7.45am.
The crash has caused traffic to congest all the way back to junction 25 at Enfield.
National Highways confirmed on X that traffic caught within the closure will not be allowed pass the scene.
And the opposite carriageway is also seeing congestion halfway back to junction 28, the A12 due to onlookers.
