There is no doubt that Jinwoo is definitely the most powerful character in Solo Leveling, at least from what we have seen so far. Even later, when more powerful beings emerge, Jinwoo should not have much problem training himself and gaining abilities to defeat them.
But maybe Jinwoo’s aura is taking our attention away from another character who might be even stronger than Jinwoo himself. He is someone whom even death cannot touch, and it doesn’t really matter at what level their power stands because they can never perish.
Yes, it is none other than the cameraman at the Jeju Island raid who was pretty much unscathed while the ant king completely demolished the S-ranked hunters. He was the only person who did not need help from Jinwoo to come and save him.
Is the Solo Leveling cameraman too overpowered for death?
The Jeju Island raid was nothing short of a nightmare for all the hunters who went there. Even the S-ranked hunters from Japan, who were significantly more powerful than their Korean counterparts, bore the burden and got massacred by the ant king without much of an issue.
The Korean S-ranked hunters still managed to survive because all of them were in the same place, and they had a strong healer backing them up. If Byung-Gyu, the S-ranked healer, had not been present, each and every one of them, even Chae-in, would have died.
But the cameraman survived this entire thing while managing to broadcast simultaneously to the audience because, for him, this kind of threat is nothing. He has previously mentioned how he is an A-ranked hunter himself, proving that he has the credentials to stand in areas of intense combat.
On top of that, he also mentioned that he is accustomed to being on the front lines and shooting battle sequences. This kind of makes sense as the ant king spared no one in the dungeon, but not once did he look for the cameraman.
The cameraman is the real final boss
As Jinwoo is the protagonist of the story, it is not surprising that he will have the plot armor. Maybe that is why we see him as the ultimate leveler who is becoming stronger in every episode.
But there is a high chance that he is not the actual final boss and the cameraman is the main menace of the story. Maybe, if there is one being Sung Jinwoo should be wary of, it is the cameraman and not the monsters of the dungeon.
The ant king could not even detect the presence of the cameraman, not because he was so insignificantly weak, but because he was too scared to confront someone of the cameraman’s stature. A prime predator like the ant king knew not to mess with the cameraman, or he could encounter an early death.

Whatever the reason may be, one thing is certain; a cameraman never dies because nothing can stop them from getting the perfect shot. He takes his job seriously, and how can he die when he has the weight and responsibility of letting the world know about the truth?
