Tempting Fortune’s Paddy McGuinness reveals horror moment contestant found a LEECH on his penis in new series

TEMPTING Fortune star Paddy McGuinness has shared of the horror moment that a contestant found a leech on their penis.

Paddy returns with this cross between The Traitors and Race Across The World, where 12 contestants race across the jungles of Malaysia in the hope of winning up to £300,000. But it’s not for the faint-hearted…

“There are certain parts of the rivers that the locals call ‘leech city’ – one of the contestants found one on his willy!” reveals Paddy, 51 in this weekend’s The Sun’s TV Mag.

“It’s not a good look, but it’s impressive – if you can fit a leech on your willy, you’re doing well!

“But it makes my skin crawl. I don’t know how they coped with that.”

The big twist in this show is, of course, the temptations offered to the contestants along the way.

Amid the gruelling conditions – they may, for example, reach an oasis offering soft beds, swimming pools or hot showers.

But if they want anything, they have to pay for them, reducing the prize money and potentially angering the other players.

Contestants this time around include a personal trainer, a hostage negotiator and a vicar.

“David the vicar hasn’t told anyone else he’s a vicar, he’s playing the game,” reveals Paddy.

“But he’s in a tricky position because if he takes a temptation – particularly a secret one – he’s effectively lying to the others.

“He’s going against the whole code of conduct when it comes to the Church. And we’ve got some girls who love their straighteners and make-up.

“How are they going to cope when they take that away?”

So, how would Paddy do in the face of temptation?

“The living on rations, I think I’d become used to that.

“Creature comforts for me are things like good kitchen roll – I love the strong soaker-upper stuff.

“I’m not bothered about having access to my phone or internet,” he says. “My Achilles heel is that when I’m wet through and wearing dirty clothes, they would only have to put a clean pair of underwear and socks out for me: ‘What’s that? £50k for pants and socks?’ I’ll take it!”

The Sun’s TV Mag is available in The Sun every Saturday.
