Teddi Mellencamp Reacts to Tamra Judge Not Unfollowing Edwin Arroyave

The politics of social media following and unfollowing during a breakup are tricky, but Teddi Mellencamp is still following estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, and she doesn’t care that Tamra Judge is too.

Mellencamp, 43, asked Judge, 57, on the Wednesday, June 11, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast if she had unfollowed Arroyave, to which Judge replied, “No, should I? I mean you haven’t even.”

The topic came up as the two were discussing the ongoing drama between Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen. On the Wednesday, June 11, season 7 premiere of The Real Housewives of Miami, Pippen, 50, expressed her annoyance that Hochstein’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, is still hanging out with Marcus Jordan, Pippen’s ex. It was also revealed that Hochstein, 42, still follows Jordan, 34, on Instagram.

At first, Judge took Pippen’s side.

“I understand where Larsa is coming from when it when it’s regarding Lisa,” she said. “They were best friends, or, I don’t know if they still are. You need to unfollow at that point. It’s not an acquaintance.”

After the cohosts discussed it, they agreed that a simple breakup isn’t grounds for unfollowing. They did, however, acknowledge that there were circumstances that would make it necessary.

“If Edwin was, like, threatening you or something like that, or being really mean to you, then I definitely would,” Judge said.

But as it stands, the two don’t know of anything that would put Hochstein at fault for continuing to follow Jordan.

“So you think there’s no problem with Lisa following Marcus?” Judge asked.

“I think there’s a problem with Lisa going to dinner with Marcus, which, that didn’t happen,” Mellencamp replied. “But unfollowing somebody without having the full information from your friend feels weird, especially when that couple makes up and breaks up.”

The dynamic between Mellencamp and Arroyave, who announced in November 2024 that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage, is markedly different from that of Hochstein and Jordan. For one thing, Mellencamp and Arroyave, 48, share three kids, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5 — and Mellencamp is also a stepmother to Arroyave’s 15-year-old daughter Bella.

Arroyave has also been by his ex’s side during her battle with cancer, helping her and their kids cope.

“No matter what, I will always love Teddy and she’s been a big part of my life,” he said in an April episode of “The Eds” podcast. “And I just like taking care of people, it’s just what I do. So it wasn’t even like a question, it was reflexive. And the main thing is, again, getting her to a point where she felt confident, she felt like she wasn’t alone.”
