Selena Gomez Reveals Her Favorite Song From BFF Taylor Swift
After the Only Murders in the Building star revealed their engagement via Instagram in December 2024, Swift was among the first to congratulate the happy couple.
“Yes, I will be the flower girl,” Swift wrote in the comments section.
Swift and Gomez have notably been fast friends since 2008, when they met on a double date with brothers Joe and Nick Jonas, respectively.
“I knew from when I met [Selena] I would always have her back,” Swift told The Wall Street Journal in 2020. “In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don’t know if I can forgive someone who hurts her.”
At the time, Swift teased how proud she was of Gomez’s musical accomplishments.
“This is the first time I’ve heard her truly channel the details of her emotional experience,” Swift added of Gomez’s Rare LP. “I just thought, ‘Wow, she’s finally allowing herself to let other people know things aren’t always OK.’”
