Taapsee Pannu Wraps Up Shoot for Gandhari: A Journey Fueled by Grit and Determination

Actress Taapsee Pannu has officially wrapped up the shoot for her upcoming film Gandhari, and she’s left it all on the set! The actress took to Instagram to share a heartfelt glimpse of her intense journey while filming the action-packed drama. She posted a series of behind-the-scenes moments, including a heartwarming shot of her playing with children blindfolded and a picture with co-actor Ishwak Singh, writer Kanika Dhillon, and director Devashish Makhija, whose previous film Joram received widespread acclaim.

 

The celebrations on set included a sweet treat: a chocolate cake with the words “Gandhari It’s A Wrap” written on it, marking the end of what was clearly a fulfilling and challenging shoot. Taapsee shared an emotional caption reflecting on her experience, saying, “If there is a NOS mode for the human body, I experienced it in this film. If there is something called running on fuel of grit and determination, I saw it in this film. Every time I decide to go against the tide, I forget there is a price to pay, a burnout like never before, but some bruises give a feeling of contentment like never before. We gave it all! Gandhari promises a gripping storyline filled with relentless determination, intense personal stakes, and high-powered action. Set against a backdrop of mystery, the film will showcase Taapsee as a fierce mother on a mission, taking audiences on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. This project marks the sixth collaboration between Taapsee Pannu and writer Kanika Dhillon, following their successes with Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dilruba, and Phir Aayi Hasseen Dilruba, among others.

 

The film is the second project under Kanika Dhillon’s banner Kathha Pictures, following the success of the mystery drama Do Patti. Gandhari is helmed by the highly acclaimed director Devashish Makhija, known for his impactful films like Bhonsle and Joram. With such a powerhouse team, Gandhari is set to captivate audiences with its unique blend of action and emotional depth. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release!
