It’s 2025 and somehow, people are still acting like women’s natural bodies are a shocking discovery. Come on, body hair shouldn’t be breaking news! We have just had enough of people policing women’s bodies and it is honestly exhausting. It’s natural, people! Thankfully, we still have celebrities like Rachel Zegler who are loud and proud about their bodies, as they should be. It’s time the trolls get a life.

In 2023, Rachel Zegler was asked an extremely inappropriate question by a fan on X, Twitter back in the day, about shaving her back hair. Perhaps the person didn’t think she would take the time out to reply to his atrocious comment but they soon learned that actions have consequences!
Rachel Zegler casually shuts down her troll

Ever since Snow White was announced, Rachel Zegler faced the wrath of the Internet, especially thanks to her views about the original story. From her casting to her controversial interviews, Disney fans were not happy. They simply didn’t see her as their Snow White. Even with early positive reviews coming in, the fans are not convinced.
However, keeping all this aside, making personal attacks on someone has never been a good look on anyone. Unfortunately, Zegler is a little too familiar with receiving crass comments on social media.
Back in 2023, a random user on Twitter asked Zegler, “Did you finally shave your back hair?” (Via Just Jared). If you think about it, someone spent their precious time, zooming in on the actress’ photos and noticing the hair on her body. Well, that’s just weird.
Then, of course, there’s the fact that comments like these imply that body hair on women is an unwanted and bad thing – it really isn’t! Luckily, Zegler knew just how to shut down the troll by responding to them in the best way possible.
Take a look:
no i think hair is natural and cool!!!!!!!! ❤️

The distasteful comment made by the user is nowhere to be found now. Clearly, all it takes is a confident woman to shut the haters down!
Even today, a user criticized Zegler’s back hair stating that it is going to be the reason why Disney will lose $300 million. The replies were filled with men trolling the actress and calling her “disgusting” for not having the hair removed.
So many men have clearly never seen a woman up-close in their whole lives https://t.co/b8YR88bGIe

Honestly, ladies? Pay no attention and keep rocking your true self!
2023 wasn’t the only time Zegler opened up about body hair and how it should not be a problem for women.
Another time Rachel Zegler spoke about body hair

A few years ago, in 2019, the Snow White actress posted a couple of photos showing off the stunning yellow prom dress she had picked out for herself. In the photos, you could see Zegler’s arm hair, which again, is completely normal.
While this shouldn’t have been something that gets pointed out, Zegler decided to set the record straight before someone had the audacity to troll her for it. She wrote, “Also the hair on our arms is gorgeous and should be worshipped thank u amen.”

Needless to say, Zegler’s comment was, in a way, empowering to those women who were always made to feel insecure about their bodies. A user replied, “thank you for this. I’ve been made fun of all my arm hair for years and it sucks.”
Zegler had the perfect reply:
ew those people are dumb n ur a goddess amen

Say what you will, but the world needs more women like Zegler in influential positions so that young girls can look up to them and take pride in their bodies, just as they should.
Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21.
