YOU’D be hard pressed to find a more impactful signing than Scott McTominay at Napoli this season.
So much so, one of the club’s main rivals reportedly want to sign him for themselves.

Scotland hero McTominay, 28, left Manchester United last summer, the club he’d spent his entire career with.
It’s proved an inspired move, however, with the midfielder going from strength to strength at Napoli.
He quickly became a firm fans’ favourite and has been the beating heart of Antonio Conte‘s impressive transformation of the club.
Napoli have been locked in a title battle all season and it’s still all very tight at the top.
The Gli Azzurri currently sit 2nd, three points ahead of Atalanta but three behind leaders Inter Milan.
In a major twist, it’s Inter who reportedly want to sign McTominay.
Excelling in a much more attack-minded role, he’s struck seven times in Serie A this season.
One of those came against Inter in a 1-1 draw back in November.
Now, it’s claimed I Nerazzurri want to add McTominay to their squad.
According to Fichajes, Inter’s ‘interest is strong’ in McTominay and the report claims they will ‘attempt to make the transfer happen.’
As you’d expect, McTominay is very much NOT a player Napoli want to lose.
He’s under contract until 2028 and the report states that the Naples outfit wouldn’t make a deal easy.
It says they’d only even come to the table if the offer was ‘compelling.’
McTominay is currently away with the Scotland squad.
