A FASHION fan has found a perfect pair of Skims dupe at Dunnes Stores – and they’re an absolute bargain.
As spring season has fully kicked off, many fashion lovers are set to overhaul their wardrobe with new styles and clothes – and this top is perfect to include in your new closet.

Laura Drury, who posts under @theglamshamrock on Instagram, shared the gorgeous “ideal wardrobe basic” top.
Captioning the post, she said: “These skims dupes are INCREDIBLE quality, and for €10 you best believe I got one in every colour I could see in the shop.
“Ideal wardrobe basics for jeans or leggings, they are giving champagne taste on a lemonade budget!”
Laura revealed the workout outfit, featuring the gorgeous Long Sleeve Crew Neck Polyamide Top.
It is crafted from a durable polyamide blend, ensuring it is perfect for both active pursuits and everyday wear – making it the ideal wardrobe staple piece to have.
Dunnes Stores chiefs stated that the top minimalist design makes it “effortlessly complements any outfit”
It’s available in sizes XS to XXL and has three colour options: Black, Brown, Stone and White.
Laura added: “I will never buy Skims one now. Never. As long as these exist in Dunnes, they actually feel the most like the Skims one.
“They’re just like this lovely thick material, like the neckline is gorgeous on them.”
She styled the gorgeous polyamide top with leggings and long white socks – the perfect outfit for exercising and errands in town.
The top can also be paired with jeans, a light jacket, a pair of runners or Birkenstocks and a handbag – perfect for grabbing coffee or brunch with the girls.
It can also be spiced up for dinner and completed with flats or heels, a skirt or leather pants, a jacket or a trenchcoat, a gorgeous necklace, and a handbag – making it classy and elegant for a dinner date.
The Dunnes Stores’ top is a dupe of Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims Long Sleeve T-shirt, currently retailing at a whopping €72.
However, the original product does provide more colour options compared to Dunnes, providing a choice of Soot, Marble, Bone, Light Heather Grey, Mineral and Kyanite.
Laura added: “They are the ones that I would say the most like the actual Skims one and I bought the Skims one at once and I will not buy it again now.”
‘STUNNING’
Her followers were left obsessed by her amazing find and immediately rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts about the new dupe.
A person wrote: “Ohhh I need them!”
Another person added: “The brown is stunning too. I bought them all colours.”
The third person said: “They are fab tops. I bought 2 bass layers for skiing, and they were great x.”
Another person said: “They look fab!”

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 – and it was an instant hit.
Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”
Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
