Ric Flair’s Skin Cancer Diagnosis: “I’ve Got More Money Than I’ve Got Time”

If iconic is a word, then Ric Flair is the living embodiment of it, especially with his larger-than-life personality and achievements inside the WWE ring. What made him more intriguing is that, despite being 76 years old, he remains a relevant figure in the wrestling industry, knowing how to make other wrestlers look great.

Naturally, one would assume that he would be the most beloved figure in the community, where fans and fellow wrestlers would love him. But let’s be honest, nobody’s a saint, and Flair isn’t one either. His image has been tainted with controversies and actions that can’t be undone.

Like every time, the Hall of Famer has found himself on the bitter end of the stick, where he took a dig at his haters while throwing a fit on social media.

Ric Flair continues his burning streak of controversial social media posts

In the history of entertainment sports and WWE, many personalities have come and gone, showcasing their wealth and lavish lifestyles. But none could come close to Ric Flair, who chose to build a reputation that spoke on his behalf. His achievements ranged from being a 16-time WWE Champion to being a 2-time Hall of Famer, cementing his place as one of the greats in wrestling history.

For the past couple of years, the wrestling veteran has been fighting for his life with several illnesses; he has been enjoying and living life to the fullest. However, he shocked the world when he recently spoke to PEOPLE, stating how he has been diagnosed with skin cancer and this is the “second time in three years” that he has had to suffer from the disease.

While the fans recovered from this bolt from the blue, he stirred a big pot of controversy, stemming from a series of provocative social media posts, making inappropriate comments on his social media rant. The event commences from a now-deleted post via Wrestling Inc, where the Dirtiest Player in the Game called out Jim Ross, the AEW commentator, for always “seeking attention” and asked him to put his mind on his recovery from colon cancer.

He tried to save the day with another follow-up tweet where he called it all “harmless, lighthearted fun” and said that if it offends people, then they are living life “too seriously.” Recently, Flair was criticized for his words on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, where the host said that he should “shut up,” calling him a “d**k” and questioning his intelligence, remarking he was not the “smartest student in the classroom.”

These comments about the 76-year-old infuriated him, and he took to X, tweeting directly about the YT personality, how he is a veteran but should not be “allowed to have an opinion.” To get under his skin, he also mentioned that the anger and resentment he bore towards him came from a place of “pain” and urged him to stay strong.
