VACLAV Cerny faces a police probe and potential Hampden sanctions from the SFA after his ‘water-gate’ celebration controversy.
But he would do well face a hostile reception from Celtic fans too, according to one of his homeland‘s greatest ever players.

Vladimir Smicer fired the warning at the winger, 27, as he ran the rule over the Czechia squad’s form ahead of internationals with Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands this week.
The former Liverpool midfielder touched on Cerny’s role in the game – but also the furore afterwards which has seen Celtic contact “relevant authorities” over Gers players “engaging” with home supporters.
We exclusively revealed cops were looking into the incident, and after Celtic revealed their reports, possible Hampden disciplinary action has also been mooted.
But Smicer says Cerny should have kept his excitement in check – and even warned of ramifications beyond the pitch and police.
Speaking to Sport in Czechia, the 80-time capped star said: “He should keep his nerve.
“But it’s sometimes difficult for players to keep their cool, not to react to the outbursts from the stands.
“In any case, Černý will have to be careful when he goes to the centre of Glasgow. Some Celtic fans are aggressive.”
Nedim Bajrami was also spotted doing similar as Gers stars partied with the away section – and later video footage of missiles raining ONTO the pitch was circulated.
However Cerny is in focus over the fracas and the winger has already discussed the incident – branding the fall-out ABSURD.
But Cerny insists the row won’t put him off staying in Glasgow longer, with Gers set to be taken over by an American consortium including health insurance tycoon Andrew Cavenagh and NFL franchise owners 49ers Enterprises.
Asked if he’d like to stay at Ibrox beyond this season’s loan deal he said: “I definitely do.
“But there are so many aspects that I can’t control. All I can do is be the best I can and keep up my form and numbers.”
Firing 17 goals this season has earned his call-up for games against Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands, but Smicer says the players who HAVEN’T made the cut for the games should be gunning for Cerny and his squad mates in the June internationals.
And his ‘aggressive fan’ warning for the winger wasn’t his only outburst.
He blasted: “The coach makes the nomination and either I’m in it or I’m not. Why should he call me if I’m not in it? So that I’m not upset?
“Let these players sit on their asses and work hard and do their best to be in the nomination next time.”
