Former Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sara Adwoa Safo has explained that although she stayed away from voting in parliament for the e-levy to be passed, she was not impersonated.
She said she was in Parliament on the said day but looked different because she had given birth and had put on some weight.
According to her, the impersonation claims were orchestrated by persons within her political party to put her in a bad light.
“I was in Parliament, and claims of impersonation are false. People said it was my sister. I had given birth, so I had put on a lot of weight. The impersonation claims were orchestrated by people in my party. Politics is crazy.
There were claims that I said if Afenyo Markin is not removed as Deputy Minister, I won’t come back to Parliament which wasn’t true. Afenyo Markin is a brother,” she told OB on Asempa FM.
