P Diddy Might Get Attacked in Jail: Experts Concerned for Diddy’s Safety After Recent Stabbing in Prison

It looks like P Diddy has more than his upcoming trial to worry about. Currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, a prison known for its heinous conditions, Diddy might be in danger of becoming the inmates’ next target. Well, at least that’s what the experts believe. Not only Diddy, but Luigi Mangione, who is awaiting trial for the murder of UnitedHealthcare chief executive Brian Thompson, may be on the radar as well.

After MDC saw inmate-on-inmate violence and a brutal gang stabbing, expert Justin Paperny believes that the two high-profile prisoners may need to face more lockdowns and be kept away from the general population in fear that someone might “make an example of them.

Is Diddy in danger at the Metropolitan Detention Center?

The director of prison consultancy firm, White Collar Advice, Justin Paperny, recently spoke to Daily Mail about the possible danger both Diddy and Luigi Mangione could be in. Apparently, the two are being warned that they could be the next potential victims after a gang stabbing took place at their prison.

According to Paperny, they are being told that other prisoners would want to jump at the chance of getting to them in order to “make an example of them.” To avoid this, Paperny stated, high-profile inmates are usually advised to keep to themselves when incidents like these take place.

MDC saw the stabbing of two prisoners, which led to the arrest of 25 people, including 15 inmates and a former corrections officer. A serious alleged incident took place last month when several inmates stabbed another in one of the prison’s common areas.

Neither Diddy nor Mangione are thought to be the victims as they are being held in solitary confinement. While Paperny doesn’t believe there is an imminent threat towards the two, he stated, “Prisoners in isolation may have time with other inmates and that’s when they have to watch themselves, that’s when fights can happen.

He added,

It could bring more scrutiny and more lockdowns while they shakedown cells, and investigate and question people…The fallout for prisoners is a more tight living environment as these investigations go on…You’re not in a camp or low-security prison, you’re confined in smaller quarters.

Paperny also admitted that the environment over at MDC is already difficult for the inmates, which could “compel people to get angry.” According to Daily Mail, several inmates using contraband weapons attacked at least two victims, and CCTV footage showed prisoners chasing one and stabbing him with “long sharp weapons,” while he was cornered under a pillar. The victim received 18 puncture wounds.

Justin Paperny’s advice to Diddy and Luigi Mangione

As far as Paperny’s expertise goes, the Bureau of Prisons wouldn’t want anything happening to inmates like Diddy, especially after what happened with Jeffrey Epstein as he was awaiting trial.

He stated, “They’ve been in prison for murder, they could be looking to make an example of someone like Diddy.” His advice? Be careful of who you associate with in prison.

Paperny advises that inmates like Diddy and Mangione need to be “careful about who they are associating with” as almost everyone in the prison has some sort of “agenda.” He also added that their teams would advise them to keep to themselves and avoid problems, even if baited.

He said,

Even around other prisoners, mind our own business. Don’t take the bait if called out. Some will admire them (Diddy and Mangione) but you will just need one person to make an example out of them. Be careful what you say – you don’t have friends in there.

Clearly, the volatile environment over at MDC poses a real risk to both Magione and Diddy’s lives. After hearing what Paperny had to say, they must remain cautious, as any misstep could cost them big time.

Diddy’s trial begins on May 5 while Mangione’s next hearing in the federal case is scheduled for March 19, and the next court date for the New York state case is on June 26.
