ONE of the nineties sex symbols from a soap has barely aged a day after the cult show’s cancellation.
The 59-year-old actress starred in the serial drama on Channel 5 (now 5) from 1997 until 1999.

Sunset Beach is the soap which focussed on the personal lives of those who resided in the eponymous Orange County coastal area.
Throughout its run, the NBC show won two Daytime Emmy Awards and was nominated for another eleven gongs at the ceremony.
On the show, Sarah Buxton notably starred as the spoiled California resident, Annie Douglas Richards.
When the show was axed in 1999, fans were absolutely livid as they started a campaign to save the show.
Despite the show’s popularity in the UK, bosses decided to go ahead with their plans to cancel the daytime programme.
But two decades later, the actress looks better than ever as she posts content on her social media.
She regularly shows off her stunning figure and long blonde locks as she updates her 15,000 fans on Instagram.
Although she still works as an actress, the star also makes ends meet as an interior designer, according to her bio on the photo-sharing site.
Although Sarah’s casting and character was announced before the soap went to air, she soon became a fan favourite.
In the show, she was implicated in the murder of her father Del Douglas (John Reilly).
Although she initially had eyes for Ben Evans (Clive Robertson), she then gave up hope for him as she knew she had to marry Gregory Richards (Sam Behrens).
This was so she could claim her father’s inheritance after he had an affair with Gregory’s wife.
As the ultimate revenge, he would try to use his daughter to break up their marriage from beyond the grave.
In the end, Annie found love in undercover cop, Jude Cavanaugh (Sean Kanan) as she tried to get as much money out of her father’s will as she could.
She also made peace with longtime rivals Olivia Richards (Lesley-Anne Down) and Meg Cummings (Sydney Penny).
