New CCTV sighting of missing man, 36, who vanished on trip to city over a week ago as cops probe new clues

COPS have issued new CCTV photos of a 36-year-old man who vanished a week ago.

Lee Horton has not been in touch with his family since Tuesday, March 11, after he did not return home from a visit to Bristol.

Despite telling his family he would catch a train home, Lee has not been heard from since and was reported missing on Wednesday, March 12.

Avon and Somerset Police have now confirmed their last sighting of Lee was just after 1pm on March 11, in Broadmead.

The force is following various lines of enquiry and have been checking CCTV footage to try and track Lee’s movements.

Officers have also been handing out flyers to the public in the city centre.

It has been established that Lee tried unsuccessfully to book a hotel on Tuesday morning and visited several retail outlets in Broadmead.

At one point, he got on and straight off a bus.

Lee is described as 5ft 11ins tall and white with short dark brown hair and a beard and a distinguishing birth mark on his right arm.

He was wearing a blue jacket, dark-coloured jeans and was carrying a large black rucksack with red tags on it.

Lee’s worried family say his visit to Bristol is not unusual and that he likes to visit new places.

However, they did say it was out of character for him not to be in contact.

Avon and Somerset Police are still appealing for information from anyone with information which could help find him.
