THE Net Zero bombshell unearthed by The Sun today is terrifying hard evidence of the national ruin we have long predicted.
No wonder it was kept secret so long.

The Whitehall impact assessment forecasts that dashing to eliminate UK emissions by 2050 may trigger a catastrophic GDP collapse, with a financial crash and Government debt soaring.
Millions could be plunged into poverty — mainly working-class Sun readers.
Factor in investment flight and the rise of AI and it becomes hard to imagine jobs which will survive.
Labour will doubtless persist with Ed Miliband’s delusional mantra that his eco revolution will create thousands of green jobs.
It is all guff — dreamed up to justify millionaire ministers like him sacrificing the prosperity and happiness of others in a quasi-religious cause.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, by contrast, has rightly condemned “Net Zero by 2050” as economically impossible.
Keir Starmer must scrap it before Labour presides over our bankruptcy.
The economic upheaval would be horrific even if all other nations did the same. But it is insane to plough on hoping the world’s major polluters follow.
Donald Trump instead intends to reopen hundreds of dirty coal-fired power plants to compete with China’s 1,000-plus. India has hundreds too.
Britain has none.

Deal’s a dud
WORLD leaders praise Donald Trump’s peace-making efforts — but it’s hard to believe the Kremlin isn’t laughing at him.
Putin agreed merely to stop bombing Ukraine’s power plants, then immediately violated it.
Every other “concession” helps him and hinders Ukraine.
Putin is a snake, and a monster who invaded a sovereign nation, butchered its men, raped its women and stole its children. Only a fool would trust him.
We all want peace. But the US President who prides himself on the “art of the deal” is at risk of buying a dud.
Evil in dock
WE remain mystified why a judge ruled out a whole-life term for Nicholas Prosper.
This evil teenage paedo slaughtered his family and planned to massacre 30 schoolkids. He will clearly never be safe for release even after 49 years inside.
But we do commend Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb for ordering him to court to hear his fate in person.
Prosper, like so many cocky criminals, hoped to stay in his cell. The judge bluntly told him: “It is not your choice.”
Why, then, do so many of her colleagues meekly capitulate to other defiant killers instead of forcing them back to the dock?
