Mrs Hinch shares £4.30 chocolate wreath recipe that looks so much more expensive & it’s the perfect Easter treat

MRS Hinch is known for her cleaning and household hacks – but she does create some tasty and easy treats in the kitchen too.

The influencer, 35, showed how she had an Easter baking day with sons Ronnie, six, and Lennie, four, and made a delicious-looking chocolate wreath.

Mrs Hinch – real name Sophie Hinchliffe – revealed to her 4.8million fans how they had made it as a birthday cake for her teenage niece Abi, who is turning 17.

Sophie shared: “Morning everyone. Yesterday we made a start on a chocolate cornflake spring wreath.

“I saw this thing online.”

The cleaning whizz appeared to have helped her boys mix together cornflakes, chocolate, and mini marshmallows.

They placed it in a cake tin with a wine glass in the centre to create the circle wreath shape.

After the wreath had set in the fridge, Sophie held her sons remove the glass and tin to reveal their creation.

Then it was time for the fun part – decorating.

Sophie said: “We need to put the white chocolate on first darling.”

She helped her sons apply melted white chocolate to the top and then sprinkle on chopped up mini eggs for a spring effect.

Proud of the finished result, Sophie added: “This is brilliant.

“Well done boys.”

Thankfully the no-cook recipe is extremely easy and cheap to make, with the entire thing costing £4.30 with ingredients left over.

All you need is a box of cornflakes (75p from Asda), a milk chocolate bar (55p), a white chocolate bar (36p), mini marshmallows (£1) and some mini eggs (£1.64).

Many people were impressed at the simple yet effective treat, with one saying: “This looks delish.”

Another added: “Looks fantastic.”

Scary hospital stay

Mrs Hinch recently returned home after a terrifying health scare just weeks after welcoming her third son, Vinnie.

Sophie revealed she was rushed to hospital with a blood clot in her groin, pelvis, and leg, requiring an emergency operation after initially being sent home.

Sophie, 35, shared the distressing ordeal, explaining that doctors had to “hoover out” the clot and her stents in a delicate procedure.

Now back home with her family, the mum-of-three posted a touching tribute to her late father, calling him her “guardian angel” and urging her followers to trust their gut feelings.

Mrs Hinch first spoke about her health scare from her hospital bed, revealing the shocking turn of events just three weeks postpartum.

She said: “I haven’t had a blood clot since 2018, and then another one decides to hit me three weeks after having Vinnie. What a 12 months it’s been.”

She explained how she had been initially discharged but quickly realised something was seriously wrong when her leg continued to swell.

“I got put through a CT scan and they said, ‘There’s no blood clot, you can go home.’ I went home; my leg got bigger and bigger. I came back to a different hospital, they scanned me and said, ‘We need to operate—you’ve got a big blood clot.’”

Reflecting on the close call, Sophie urged her followers to listen to their instincts: “What if I didn’t come back? Just trust your gut, guys. Trust your bloody gut.”

This latest health scare comes after an incredibly difficult year for Mrs Hinch, following the sudden passing of her father who died in his sleep last year in April.
