Mimi Garner and Doug Levine Launch 4 Seasons Realty to Revitalize Lost Sierra Region

Mimi Garner, an established developer and real estate broker in Plumas County, has announced her collaboration with Tahoe-based broker Doug Levine to create 4 Seasons Realty and Investment. This new venture aims to revitalize the Lost Sierra region and promote the Nakoma community.

The partnership focuses on supporting residential growth, tourism, and workforce housing, with plans for senior and low-income housing in eastern Plumas County. Garner highlights that their combined marketing efforts will attract buyers from the Tahoe Basin, Reno, and the San Francisco Bay Area, which will, in turn, enhance local business and stimulate economic growth.

Garner, a 30-year resident of Plumas County, was instrumental in the original Nakoma development, emphasizing her commitment to rejuvenating the vision she helped create. Levine, with 40 years of real estate experience and roots in Tahoe City, was drawn to the “Old Tahoe” spirit, which he believes is echoed in the Lost Sierra’s rugged appeal. Their partnership seeks to bridge the connection between the “forgotten Tahoe” and the unrecognized beauty of Plumas County.

Garner’s current initiative focuses on promoting Nakoma, stating, “This collaboration represents more than a business opportunity; it’s a shared vision to revive a region rich in natural beauty and potential.”

About Mimi Garner: Garner is known for developing the 427-lot Gold Mountain subdivision, now Nakoma, which features the acclaimed Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Nakoma Clubhouse. This project received recognition in several publications and created over 140 hospitality jobs, bolstering local economic development and tax revenues. In addition to her real estate endeavors, Garner is active in civic leadership, serving on the board of the Eastern Plumas Recreation District and as a delegate for the Association of Mature American Citizens. She is also involved in community outreach, organizing events through New Life Christian Center in Portola.

Garner emphasizes that community extends beyond economics, encompassing hope, resilience, and mutual support.

He has expertise in land services, zoning, and construction, having previously owned a mortgage company.
