It came just four months after the couple’s engagement.
Jonathan, 35, kept the ceremony in the family with his mum, who is a pastor, acting as the officiant, according to sources for the publication.
They say the only other person present was Think Like A Man star Meagan’s mother.
It came after The Antman and the Wasp actor Jonathan appeared to let their nuptials slip during a recent promotional interview for new flick Magazine Dreams.
Speaking of his relationship with his partner, 43, the Lovecraft Country screen star said: “Just my girl man! She’s just my best friend – my wife.”
Yet he then appeared to realise the slip-up and added: “My fiancée!”
He added of the actress and model: “She just motivates me so much, she guides me, and I guide her.
“I think Meagan and I do a good job of dealing with each other where we’re at.”
Meagan found fame in the movie Eve’s Bayou before playing Nina in the sitcom, Cousin Skeeter.
She was married to DeVon Franklin until 2022.
Meanwhile the actor, who avoided jail in 2024 following an assault charge, has previously opened up on his close bond with his parent.
On the Late Late Show, he addressed his habit of carrying a cup around with him and said: “It means mind your cup. You’re a vessel.
“Nobody can fill you up. Nobody can pour you out. You do that yourself.
“Holding onto this cup is a reminder that even in this craziness that’s happening, my self-esteem is my self-esteem.
“No one can big me up as it were or tear me down.”
COURT BATTLE
The former Marvel actor was convicted in December 2023 of recklessly causing physical injuries to his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, 31.
Jonathan, who was envisioned to star as Marvel‘s time-traveling villain Kang the Conquerer in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga for years to come, was immediately fired by the movie studio after his conviction.
In April 2044, a judge in New York sentenced the once-rising movie star to a year of domestic violence counseling.
Grace, who met Jonathan in London while on the set of Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, blasted her ex-boyfriend at his sentencing, saying he would “hurt other women.”
He will be jailed for a year if he violates the terms of the order.
A jury convicted the actor of one count of reckless assault and one count of harassment but acquitted him of a second assault and aggravated assault charges.
The charges stemmed from a March 2023 domestic violence incident involving Jonathan and Grace in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
In an interview in the aftermath, Jonathan, who is dad to daughter Ella, broke down in tears and admitted the emotional turmoil had been “hard.”
