LUCENA CITY—A magnitude 3.5 earthquake jolted Calatagan town in Batangas province on Monday afternoon, June 30, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. According to Phivolcs, the epicenter of the tectonic earthquake that occurred at 12:11 p.m. was located 19 kilometers northwest of Calatagan. It had a depth of focus of 91 kilometers.
