STRONGER THAN EVER
The couple were rocked by split rumours last summer.
However, at the time, Sophie was quick to put fans’ minds at rest that her and Josh were happy but going at their own pace with their romance.
“We’re taking things slow,” Sophie said.
“He’s in Manchester and I’m in London but we’re still managing to see each other and we always say that it’s nice to miss each other.
“Me and Josh are really good, I feel like we’re the two people who least expected it to turn out the way it has, but yeah, we’re really happy.”
ENGAGEMENT RUMOURS
In January, during a luxury holiday together, the couple uploaded multiple pics of them together looking more loved-up than ever.
This immediately sparked engagement rumours.
Fans took to the comments insisting the romantic trip must be apart of a proposal, one user said: “your def getting proposed to (heart emoji)”

LOVE ISLAND JOURNEY
Sophie shot to fame when she appeared on the sixth series of Love Island in 2020.
She returned to the villa last year for a second chance at love, and found it with reality star Josh, who was originally on series one of the show.
The couple came third on All Stars last year after surprising fans with their blossoming romance.
Even Sophie’s sister Rochelle Hume’s wasn’t sure it was the real deal and admitted on This Morning shortly after Love Island finished: “I met my sister’s new boyfriend for the first time.
“I was kind of like ‘is it serious? How do these things work?’ I can’t talk to her while she’s in the villa. So I’m like ‘yeah, but do you actually like him?’ Then she said ‘can I bring him over on Sunday?’
“I cooked a roast dinner. He didn’t eat any of it.
“I’m going to try not to take that as an insult.”
But fans need not worry, the couple look stronger than ever as they celebrate their one year anniversary.
