LOVE Island is set for further shock as a SECOND star has quit the show – less than 24 hours after Scott Thomas decided to leave.
The Sun can now reveal that Ron Hall has walked from the villa after he failed to find a connection with any of the girls.
Ron, who is currently coupled up with latest bombshell Danielle Sellers, has had a tough time in the villa since his late arrival.
And now the former financial advisor, 27, has decided to leave after he “grew tired” of forcing connections and believed he wouldn’t meet his soulmate in there with just two weeks before final.
A source told The Sun: “Ron was the centre of attention on his series, with multiple girls vying for his attention and with Lana always there for him to return to.
“It was a bit of a rude awakening for him this time round as he just couldn’t find a single spark.
“He realised he wasn’t likely to find that connection now and had grown tired of watching the front door for bombshells that might be for him.”
They added: “The Love Island villa is a tough place to be single, especially when matches are sparking all around you – there’s some very loved up couples in there now – and Ron decided it was time to check out.”
Ron, who found love with Lana Jenkins on series nine in 2023, joined the All Stars villa as a bombshell with Grace Jackson.
He forced a quick connection with Kaz Crossley but she had her head turned by Montel McKenzie.
Harriett Blackmore then chose to recouple with Ron, but he told her that he didn’t fancy her.
Ron has since been in a love square with new bombshell Danielle, who was also getting to know Curtis, who is coupled up with Ekin-Su.
During the last recoupling, Curtis decided to pick Ekin-Su, meaning Ron was left with no choice but to couple up with Danielle.
Yesterday, Scott shocked fans as he sensationally quit Love Island All Stars after struggling to find a genuine connection.
Scott‘s doubts over Tina Stinnes, 29, continued to grow over recent days and despite matching at the fire pit, he felt it fairest on her to call time on their relationship.
Scott’s decision left his fellow Islanders devastated after he grew close to a number of the lads especially.
A source said: “Since it first came to light Scott wasn’t feeling it with Tina on Vegas night, he’s struggled to feel free within the situation and push past his doubts.
“On tonight’s show viewers will see him continue to work through his concerns about their connection before the Islanders are then plunged into a recoupling.
“Scott was unable to get past the feeling Tina wasn’t right for him and his biggest priority was not wasting her precious time in the villa.
“He knows this is a big opportunity for her in love and life and would never want to ruin that.
“After taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island welfare team, Scott decided that the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation.
“He’s done so much work over recent years on self-love and he didn’t want to force a connection for the sake of it.”
His departure followed a tense argument with Elma Pazar where she told him to “leave”.
Fans have now demanded for Elma to be removed.
One said: “Nah, producers should throw her out for this. The whole point of the show is finding the RIGHT person, not just picking the first one that fancies you. Just because she’s desperate doesn’t mean he should be. Who is she to dictate who he should like & if he should go?!”
A second wrote: “Elma’s letting favourite girl get to her head.”
“Elma sit down or we’ll get you out next. When someone’s honest about their feelings they get angry,” said a third.
ALL STARS BOMBSHELL
Ron signed up to star in the ITV2 spin-off as a bombshell after his latest relationship with Lydia Karakyriakou came to an end at Christmas.
Previously, he told The Sun he’d never do another dating show.
Meanwhile, some believed Ron to be on the brink of quitting All Stars after he took a massive swipe at his ex.
Hours before his villa entry he released an episode of podcast I’m Wrong, He’s Right with former villa BFF Tanyel Revan and said he wouldn’t be able to stand by and watch his ex-girlfriend Lana cracking on with other men in front of him.
He told Tanyel: “There’s a more difficult scenario if I was to be in there… if, obviously Lana would be in there, it would be a little bit trickier.”
Explaining himself a bit further, he later added: “I would just leave this time. If I was having a bad time, I would just go.”
Others suggested they knew the real reason for his initial attraction to Elma Pazar, this being her resemblance to his former villa mate Tanyel.
