Bleach is considered one of the Big Three Shonen anime. Thus, it has a huge number of heroes and villains in its roster. Black Clover could be on a smaller scale, but that does not mean it is lagging behind when it comes to powerful protagonists.
Pitting a Black Clover character against that of Bleach seems a bit out of hand. But the Goku vs. Saitama debate has been ongoing for years but there’s still no end to it. So who amongst the two most powerful captains in Black Clover are going to win?
Black Clover and Bleach fans are putting Kenpachi and Yami against each other
It might seem ridiculous, but anime fans spend their leisure time debating about which anime character is more powerful when pitted against another. Both characters could belong to two completely different series that have no relation to each other. But it simply never matters.
One of the ongoing debates is about who is stronger, Bleach‘s Kenpachi Zaraki or Black Clover‘s Yami Sukehiro. Both characters are extremely strong in their respective series. However, only one of these two characters is overwhelmingly powerful, and it’s everyone’s favorite, Kenny.

Yes, Yami Sukehiro is a powerful user of dark magic, but in comparison, Kenpachi Zaraki is an absolute beast. He does not have the same level of compassion as Yami, and that’s what makes him even more dangerous. Zaraki’s raw power and durability are supposed to be superior to Yami’s dark magic.
Kenpachi is ridiculously overpowered
Yami is a powerful character, but he is not as overpowered as Kenpachi. Both characters are agile, strong, and adept at their respective techniques, but Kenpachi has a plot armor that might not extend to Yami. He is also an excellent swordsman who could be a tad bit better than Yami. Yami might have his Dimension Slash power, but it is doubtful if it will be effective against Kenpachi or if the latter would even let Yami summon it.
However, the battle itself would be legendary. Both characters could fight freely without having to hold back. They are serious characters, but Kenpachi does get a sense of thrill from battles. But if a battle like this does occur, the result might only be determined by death.
The power scales in Black Clover are high, but those in Bleach are simply higher. In Black Clover, Yami has battled demons, but Kenpachi himself is a soul reaper and has fought with all kinds of celestial enemies. But at the same time, comparing the power levels of different series is difficult. At the same time, fans have already reached the general consensus of Yami being slaughtered by Kenny.
