CHANTELLE CAMERON shared a blunt five-word post on Instagram on the deadline for Katie Taylor to agree a trilogy fight with Amanda Serrano.
Cameron is the WBC interim super-lightweight champion, with Taylor being the full holder at 140.
The Bray woman is in talks for a trilogy fight with Amanda Serrano, whom she has beaten on two occasions.
Chantelle Cameron previously revealed that Taylor had until January 31 to decide what she was going to do with the WBC belt.
That deadline arrived on Friday, with no update as to what KT will be doing next.
And on her Instagram Story, the Englishwoman appeared to suggest that she would not be getting the next crack, posting: “Boxing is the absolute worst.”
Chantelle Cameron has been angling for a trilogy bout against Katie Taylor since their last fight in November 2023.
That fight was won by the 38-year-old at the 3Arena to become undisputed super lightweight champion.
It was also revenge for losing to Cameron in May 2023 in what was Taylor’s first defeat as a professional.
In an Instagram post on Thursday – a day before the January 31 deadline – Cameron issued a challenge to Taylor.
She said: “Lots of talk about Trilogy’s . But deadline day is January 31st set by @wbcboxing at the convention in Germany
“I’m just hoping there is no extensions and the prestigious WBC belt is rightfully fought for without it being tied up for a long period of time.
“A trilogy that is personal now with both me & @katie_t86 both taking each others undefeated records and a score to settle.
“I may not be the money fight but I am the fighter who has already beaten the champion and now avoided because it will happen again.
“Like the first time the bout can be made in 24 hours and no arguments from myself about the location as I’m the challenger”
The 2012 Olympic gold medallist was warned against taking the Cameron fight by Savannah Marshall, who believes she would be better off taking on Serrano again.
She told Razed.com: “I think Katie has a hell of a lot of miles on the clock and I’m quite shocked she is still in the game.
“I would’ve liked to have seen her bow out of the game.
“She made a massive mistake fighting Chantelle Cameron the first time round and got found out.
“The second fight Chantelle nicked it but didn’t get the decision.
“If she is wanting to fight again, it’s better taking someone like Amanda again but it’s another tough fight and does she want to have another tough fight at this stage of her career?
“I don’t think so.”
