Kang Actor Jonathan Majors Asks People to Prove He Is Emotionally Abusive

Things couldn’t have been going better for Jonathan Majors before he was arrested for physically assaulting his ex, Grace Jabbari. The actor was supposed to be the upcoming Hollywood sensation but after being found guilty, he was dropped from numerous projects and was shunned by the Marvel Studios. The possibility of his comeback remains a mystery despite the recent release of Magazine Dreams.

Adding to the legal drama he was in, an investigative piece came out in 2023, accusing Jonathan Majors of being toxic, aggressive, and abusive ever since his days at Yale’s David Geffen School of Drama. Now, he is finally addressing those reports.

Back in 2023, Rolling Stone claimed that they carried out a three-month-long investigation into Jonathan Majors‘ abusive tendencies and were able to accumulate dozens of interviews from people in his past.

This includes those who knew him in graduate school, during his Hollywood career, and through romantic relationships. As per the report, people described him as “complicated, unpredictable, and sometimes violent” – a man who could “switch from charming to cold in a flash.” It is important to note that every single person who spoke to Rolling Stone wished to remain anonymous.

One anonymous person who worked with the actor stated that he cannot say anything since he is “silenced by an NDA” Majors made him sign. While it looks like this mysterious name didn’t have a great time with Majors on set, his Creed III co-star, Michael B. Jordan has nothing but positive words for him.

After conducting the interviews, Rolling Stone concluded that the stories all show a pattern of physical, mental, and emotional abuse on Majors’ part. Back then, the actor’s attorney, Dustin A. Pusch, came out with a statement denying the allegations.

He wrote,

Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners.

He added that everything in the report is “hearsay” since neither of the romantic partners referenced in the article engaged with Rolling Stone. The statement also denied accusations of wrongful behavior during his time at Yale.

Majors recently joined The Breakfast Club for a conversation where they talked about everything from trauma to his wife, Meagan Good, who he recently tied the knot with.

When the Rolling Stone article was brought up during the discussions, Majors stated that “everybody’s entitled to their opinion,” and proceeded to provide some facts about his time at Yale.

He revealed that he was on “full scholarship” and asked the accusers to provide proof of his misconduct. Majors stated,

This is Yale University. Where’s the write-up? If all of this is true, where’s the write-up from my administration, from my Dean? Where is it?…I got involved and went, ‘Show me, show me the paperwork.’ I, not my lawayer, I hit my Dean and said, ‘Show me.’ [He] said, ‘No, there’s nothing there.’ I still have the email.

Despite the defiant stance on his past, the damage to Majors’ career seems largely irreversible, at least for now. Currently, he is serving a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program.
