Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, and Bennifer 2.0 may be no more, but months after their shocking divorce, it seems friends are already excited to see Lopez with someone new.
Insiders recently told Life and Style Magazine that Lopez isn’t giving up on love any time soon. They said, “Jennifer is confiding in friends that she’ll never give up on love. Even after all the heartache she’s been through, she truly seems to believe she just hasn’t met her forever man yet.”
“J. Lo’s inner circle is convinced she’ll tie the knot again,” the insider added to the outlet. “She’s a hopeless romantic with a huge heart. J. Lo’s pals say she is convinced that her Mr. Right is out there!”
So while her friends are convinced a new man will be in her life at one point, it won’t be any time soon. At the 2025 American Music Awards, during an interview with Access Hollywood , she talked about if she’s looking for a man right now.
“She said that to me, I said ‘Girl, I ain’t looking for no man,’” Lopez responded. “I’m happy right now, I’m not trying to ruin it.”

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002. However, they were broken up by 2004 after canceling their wedding days prior to it. Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, they then filed for divorce in 2024. As of Feb 2025, they’re divorced.
Before Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance, Lopez was married to Anthony in 2004. Seven years together yielded two children (twins Max and Emme born in 2008), one film collaboration (the biopic El Cantante) and the bulk of Lopez’s discography (albums Rebirth, Como Ama Una Mujer, Brave and Love?). However, Lopez and Anthony divorced in 2011.
Lopez was also married to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and Ojani Nao from 1997 to 1998.
