Fiston Mayele, scorer in the recent Champions League final in Pyramids FC’s win over Sundowns, is a wanted man.
“There has been contact [between Pirates and Mayele]. Although nothing is concrete at this stage, there is a possibility,” a source revealed.
“Mayele’s camp is testing the waters and trying to see if Pirates are willing to make a concrete move to the PSL.”
“Given the current situation, both in terms of Orlando Pirates’ need for a proven striker and Mayele’s availability, this could be a very real transfer possibility.”
