First to join Patrick on the sofa tonight was the 1990 Republic of Ireland squad, to relive their greatest sporting years, Italia 90.
Marking 35 years since Ireland first qualified for the World Cup, Patrick sat down with Mick McCarthy, Niall Quinn, Packie Bonner, Ronnie Whelan, Ray Houghton, John Aldridge, Kevin Sheedy and David O’Leary.
As well as Andy Townsend, Chris Hughton, Chris Morris, Steve Staunton, Kevin Moran, Bernie Slaven, John Sheridan, Frank Stapleton and David Kelly.
Next to join the funnyman, was Grammy winning, singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot.
The 27-year-old dazzled the crowd by performing his new single, Little Dreaming.
After his enchanting performance, Cian sat down to catch up with Kielty since winning his Grammy and singing the anthems at the Six Nations.
The I’ll Be Waiting singer picked up a golden gramophone for his work co-writing SZA’s song, Saturn.
And Cian opened up about one of the major benefits that came with his Grammy win.
He said: “To my surprise, I went to Bruno Mars’ after party and that sounds like such a flex, because I don’t think anyone here has been to Bruno Mars’ after party.
“A friend of mine texted me in the middle of the ceremony and he was like congratulations, ‘Do you want to go to Bruno’s after party?’ and at that Bruno was like 10 meters away.
“I’m like, ‘I assume he means Bruno Mars’, so I’m going to say yes, obviously. And then we went and there was a DJ playing and like 100 people.”
Cian explained that the party was an intimate affair with one rule: “You weren’t allowed your phones.”
He continued: “And I thought there was no way Bruno Mars is showing up here. And then I went to the bathroom came back and his whole band and him were just standing on stage.
“We were like, ‘Is that Bruno Mars’? His band are so incredible and one of them just shouted into the microphone.
“They were like, ‘This isn’t a gig, it’s a party’. And then they just started like playing loads of covers.
There was also one major A-list star in attendance at the after-party.
Cian added: “And then Leonardo DiCaprio walked in and I was like ‘That makes sense’.”
