Over 30 nationalities were represented, proving once again that poker fever is alive and well in Ireland.
The Main Event was the star of the show, with multiple Day 1 flights leading up to a nail-biting finale with 1927 entries battling it out for their slice of a €138,745 prize pool.
A total of 193 players cashed, with big names hitting the felt, including Holigames Founder Stephane Blasques, poker pro Stevie Lee from Antrim Sports Club, and Irish Poker Tour Ambassadors Darren Harbinson and Tanya Masters.
But when the dust settled, there could be only one winner – and that honour went to Mark P Murphy, who scooped a cool €22,000 and the coveted trophy.
The Irish Poker Tour shows no signs of slowing down, with the next stop hitting Athlone on Saturday, 5th April.
This one-day event comes with a tempting €40K guarantee.
But the real blockbuster is on the horizon – the Monster Festival in Dublin from 30th April to 5th May.
With €250,000 guaranteed for the Main Event and a total festival guarantee of €350,000, it’s set to be the biggest event at this buy-in level in the UK & Ireland!
