WE’RE only two months in and 2025 is already shaping up to be the year of the cougar.
Cher, 78, was spotted laying the PDA on thick with her toyboy, 38, only a few nights ago, and we might hear even more about Kris Jenner’s, 69, sexcapades with the new series of The Kardashians underway.

Of course, some cougars are bound to experience heartbreak from their younger beaus, like Corrie’s Kym Marsh, 48, who has split from her “soulmate” Samuel Thomas, 29.
But on the whole, 2025 is looking like a year of famous cougars further expelling taboos and embracing their sexuality.
Officially, cougars are wild cats. But informally, the name is used to describe an older woman who is romantically or sexually interested in younger men.
The term gained widespread recognition in the early Noughties, thanks to its use in television, films and the press.
Fast forward to today, names like Madonna, Joan Collins, Kris Jenner, Heidi Klum and Cher might spring to mind when you think of cougars.
And it just so happens that these older women have not only embraced having toyboys, but even been open about their sexcapades with younger men.

Madonna & Akeem Morris – 38-year age gap

Hitmaker Madonna, 66, is rumoured to have struck up a relationship with her footballer toyboy Akeem Morris, 28, in July last year.
However, they were first photographed together in 2022 when he modeled in a photoshoot with her for Paper Magazine – including a steamy shot with his hand over her chest.
Madonna doesn’t hold back on admissions about her sexual appetite… or how well endowed her toyboys are.
During a 2020 show at the London Palladium, she said to her audience: “What do you call a man with a small penis? The answer is, I wouldn’t f***ing know. I’ve never been with a guy with a small d**k.”
She’s also a big fan of self-pleasure, even admitting in a 2021 documentary about her life: “I always masturbate, I’m known for it.”

Akeem isn’t Madonna’s first younger man. In 1991, she dated rapper Vanilla Ice, who was nine years her junior, for eight months. She was also married to film director Guy Ritchie, who was 10 years her junior, in the early Noughties.
The Material Girl singer also dated dancer and choreographer Ahlamalik Williams, who was 36 years her junior, between June 2019 and April 2022.
Cher & Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards – 40-year age gap

After meeting briefly in Paris during Fashion Week in 2022, a mutual friend gave Cher’s, 78, number to her now-boyfriend, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 38.
AE might be 40 years younger than the Believe singer, but the pair have gone from strength-to-strength, even amid split rumours.
At the SNL50 party, the pair were seen packing on the PDA, with Cher nuzzling into her beaming toyboy.
AE is a music executive currently posted at Sony Music Publishing, the record label that represents Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Charli XCX and even owns some songs by Cher.
The songstress previously took to X (formerly Twitter) to share nearly-nude photos of AE and told fans that they “kiss like teenagers”.
She also described herself as “fabulous” in the sack.
After being asked whether men “expect fabulous sex” from her in a November 2024 interview, she replied: “Yes, and they get it. You can tell by the reaction.”
“We can talk music. We can talk about everything. He’s got a great sense of humor, he’s got the cutest son in the world, ever,” she said of AE in the same interview. “We just get each other.”
Kris Jenner & Corey Gamble – 25-year age gap

In a 2020 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she candidly told Khloé and Kendall about “being up all night” with her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, 44, admitting she couldn’t “stop thinking about sex.”
She and Corey even had sex in daughter Kylie’s office, where Kris asked the film crew to leave, claiming she needed a “10-minute break” in the locked room.
Cameras also captured them engaging in role play at a Beverly Hills hotel, where Kris was seen in a red wig, silk robe, lace lingerie and thigh-high leather stiletto boots.
The couple first met in Ibiza in August 2014 at mutual friend Riccardo Tisci’s 40th birthday party.
Their relationship began soon after Kris’ divorce from Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn) after 22 years of marriage, raising concerns among her six children—especially due to the age gap.
However, on an episode of The Kardashians last year, Kris set the record straight on her 10-year relationship.
She said: “I used to say to Corey all the time when I first started dating him, like, ‘Why do you want to date somebody older than you?’ I didn’t get the age gap, and then he taught me that age is just a number.”
Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz – 16-year age gap

Supermodel Heidi Klum, 51, is married to guitarist Tom Kaulitz, 35, after meeting in 2018.

“That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it.”

Dame Joan Collins, 91, has previously credited her youthful appearance to one thing – plenty of sex.
And she’s even assigned her husband Percy Gibson, 59, with a domineering nickname in the sack.
The pair, who have a 32 year age gap, met while Joan was performing in a play that Percy was directing in 2000 and tied the knot two years later, making him her fifth husband.
“I call him Perfect Percy, which he hates, and sometimes Big Dog – which he loves,” she reportedly said in a speech at their wedding.
Joan has candidly confessed the “importance of sex” in both her relationship and life on multiple occasions.
“Let’s not forget the importance of sex when it comes to looking and feeling good,” she wrote in her 2011 book, The World According to Joan.
“It is every adult’s prerogative to enjoy sex (although young people may not agree).”
And she even confessed on Loose Women that the three most important things about her marriage are “sex, sex, sex”.
