JACK Crowley will likely be vying with Sam Prendergast for the Irish number 10 jersey for the next ten years or so.
The Munster fly-half has been on the scene longer as he’s 25 while the latter is only 22.

He went Instagram official with his girlfriend Erin O’Connell on Valentine’s Day 2025[/caption]
She had first appeared a few months previous in an album of summer holiday pics[/caption]
After Ireland’s tour of South Africa they had enjoyed some sightseeing together[/caption]
The 2024 Autumn Internationals and ensuing Six Nations this year have seen Prendergast take the jersey off him for the time being.
However, short of him opting to follow through on a move abroad as has recently been mooted, Crowley will remain very much in the picture for years to come.
Here, SunSport delves into his life away from the rugby pitch:
Who is Jack Crowley’s girlfriend Erin O’Connell?
So far the couple have largely kept themselves to themselves.
Their relationship only became public knowledge around Valentine’s Day 2025.
Sports-mad family:
He comes from fine sporting stock, with his brother Jerry, father Facthna and uncles all having played for Bandon RFC.
His other older brother, Billy, also plays for Cork Con – Jack’s former club – and his sister Tessa plays tag rugby in England.
It is not only rugby, however, with his aunt Elaine Burke a legendary figure in Cork camogie.
A proud Valley Rovers stalwart, Burke won three All-Ireland camogie titles with the Rebelettes, even captaining the side in the 2005 final.
Speaking to Off The Ball, she revealed that she was coached by her sister Maria, Jack’s mother, as a child.
Elaine revealed: “My eldest sister Maria, there wasn’t a camogie club when she was growing up.
“She was a primary school teacher when I was in primary school and she was our coach for Sciath na Scol.
“She wouldn’t have grown up playing camogie herself but to get numbers for training, you would get an ice pop.
“Someone would be sent across to the shops after training to get 25 ice pops. It was the best £2.50 ever spent.

“What I would say is, because she didn’t play camogie growing up, she really applied herself to learning ‘how do I coach these girls to hook or block?’
“These skills that people forget about.
“I do remember there were these big manuals and binders at home that she would be reading through how to do that.”
Crowley did partake in GAA for a while, winning a Premier 2 football championship at minor level with Valley Rovers.
However, his destiny was always rugby, and after rising through the ranks at Bandon RFC and Cork Con he is set to continue to star in the red of Munster and green of Ireland.
