IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell has admitted her latest TV look is not her “usual” style – but fans are all obsessed with the fashion risk.
The Virgin Media star was back on screens this morning for another jam-packed episode of the hit breakfast show.
Muireann, who is renowned for her trend-setting style, decided to try out a new aesthetic on air today.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram to share some snippets of herself getting all dolled up backstage before the show.
The Limerick beauty donned a beautiful €70 sheer cream blouse from Styled By Sarah Rackard and styled it with a figure-flattering pair of blue denim boot-cut jeans.
However, the Irish host revealed that she wasn’t too keen on the ruffled blouse at first and wrote in her caption: “I would never usually try something like this.”
The TV star confessed that the elegant top was inspired by British actress Sienne Miller, who is well-known for rocking the boho-chic look.
But, Muireann joked: “Sienna Miller’s style is to be admired never attempted but @styled_by_sarah_rickard left it in wardrobe so, gave it a go and loved it!”
Muireann really is a pro at making a trend wearable and this new elegant silhouette is sure to have fans racing to try it out.
True to form, the popular presenter shopped the high-street for her look adding a pair of snake skin boots from River Island.
And the Grey Faux Leather Snake Heeled Boots are currently on sale for just €18 – talk about a steal!
Of course, fans and friends all ran to the comment section to share their love for the star’s incredible fashion.

And Muireann was left laughing after her mum messaged while she was on air this morning to comment on her make-up.
The breakfast show host wrote in her caption: “My mother of course has a problem. Ever since I’ve started wearing a make up shade that matches my skin tone and not a Spanish senorita, she’s been a trolling me.”
Muireann then posted a screenshot of her WhatsApp conversation with her mum, Marie.
Marie wrote: “During the break put some lipstick on, you’re so pale.”
The host responded: “I’M SO PALE.”
