Chelsea met her baby’s father James last autumn while filming season two of the E4 dating show, Love Triangle.
The Louth native found out she was pregnant on the same night that the first episode of Love Triangle was aired, on March 10, 2025.
The reality star found out that she’s having a baby girl over the weekend at her gender reveal party.
However, just days after the celebration, Chelsea has been rushed into hospital.
The model took to Instagram to give her fans a “little update” on how she’s been doing.
Chelsea shared a photo of her lying in hospital bed and said: “I have been admitted to hospital unexpectedly yesterday. Never a dull moment.
“Had a scary afternoon yesterday but thankfully I’m in the best place and they’ve taken great care of me and baba.”
The Irish star has been quite open about her health struggle after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis in 2019.
After announcing her pregnancy in April, she told her fans: “Those who follow me for a long time know that because of different health issues, this is something I never thought would happen for me.
“But here we are – proof that little miracles do happen. The most loved baba already.”
Chelsea has also spoken about the trolling she received once the season aired – which inevitably ruined what was supposed-to-be the happiest time of her life.
The influencer told The Irish Sun: “It was one of the toughest things I think I ever went through and that’s the God’s honest truth.
“Once the negativity started coming in and I started being slaughtered online, I just felt so guilty, because I felt like it wasn’t just an attack on me, it was now an attack on my family. And it was now an attack on my baby.
STAR’S STRUGGLE
“I was so sick. I was trying to adjust to this big news, my whole life was about to change. And I was also dealing with all of this negativity. I was at rock bottom.”
Chelsea admitted she feels “so much resentment towards the trolls” for “ruining” the first few weeks of “the best news of her life”.
She explained: “For me, I never thought this was something I’d have. And to look back now and see how sad and broken I was when it should have been the happiest few weeks of my life.
“It’s really sad that other people took that away from me.
“People were attacking me online, because they thought, ‘Oh, she’s 25-year-old, she’s well able to take it’. But little did they know that my whole life is about to change. I’m having my first baby, I’m very sick, we had a pregnancy scare in the middle of it all.
“And they were just knocking me and knocking me while I was already struggling.”
