GREGGS is to open a brand new branch in a Scots town – and fans are buzzing.
The bakery giant lodged plans with Falkirk Council last year for a store in Almond Court, Middlefield Industrial Estate.

It will stock favourites such as sausage rolls, steak bakes, and delicious vegan alternatives.
The chain is advertising a number of vacancies in the shop, which is due to open in the “near future”.
Bosses are seeking a Store Supervisor and several Team Members with a passion for “exceptional customer service”.
A description posted online reads: “New Greggs store opening in Almond Court, Middlefield Industrial Estate in the near future and we are looking for a great team to run it.
“Do you have the skills in a fast-paced retail setting?
“Have you got the drive to push sales?
“Have you got team spirit and love getting involved in fun charity events and fundraisers? This could be the shop for you!
“We have a number of vacancies ranging from Supervisors, Team Members and Weekend Team Members.
“Applications for these jobs close on March 28 so please visit the Greggs Careers website to apply.”
It comes weeks after a new branch opened on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street.
The sausage roll supremos took over a vacant unit opposite Variety Bar on the shopping street.
Last year, Greggs won a planning battle to open their first store at Glasgow Central Station.
Council officials knocked back proposals for the popular chain to open up in a unit formerly occupied by Patisserie Valerie and Shelter Scotland.
Glasgow City Council’s planning committee said that the application wouldn’t respect the appearance of a listed building.
But Greggs was given the green light after submitting new plans.
Bosses also opened another branch at nearby Glasgow Queen Street Station.
