Greece vs Scotland preview
That Andy Robertson goal in Poland feels a lifetime ago. But it could be so crucial having guaranteed this play off spot.
A place in Group A of the Nations League is up for grabs when Group B runners up Greece try to swap places with Steve Clarke’s men over this double header.
This is a great avenue for future qualifications to major tournaments so maintaining Group A status could be key to all that.
Scotland finished off the Nations League campaign with two very good results in a tricky group, having lost the first three games.
Having said that, defeats to Poland, Portugal and Croatia were all by one goal and they turned it around with a draw with the Portuguese and victories over Croatia and the Poles.
They should be full of confidence, though Ben Doak’s injury will likely change how Clarke sets up which is a big blow to the side.
Greece finished joint-top of B2 with England, losing out on automatic promotion just on goal difference.
Their only defeat was at home to the Three Lions, with a memorable win at Wembley along the way.
It’s a tricky tie but those results in the last international break should set Scotland up well here.

Greece will be decent opposition and Steve Clarke will know the value of bringing home a good result.
That includes remaining in the tie and it’d be no surprise to see this in the balance ahead of the Hampden tie on Sunday.
