L2E: Empuraan was shot in an anamorphic format with a 1:2.8 aspect ratio. The IMAX® format will further enhance the movie-watching experience, making it immersive and visually rich.
While Mohanlal will be seen as Khureshi-Ab’raam, aka Stephen Nedumpally, L2E: Empuraan also features an incredibly talented cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Andrea Tivadar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, Sachin Khedekar, Nyla Usha, Giju John, Nandhu, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Manikuttan, Aneesh G. Menon, Sshivada, Alexx O’Nell, Eriq Ebouaney, Mikhail Novikov, and Karthikeya Dev in important roles. Game of Thrones fame Jerome Flynn makes his Indian cinema debut with this flick.
L2E: Empuraan is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. It is also the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy. L2E: Empuraan is one of the most expensive films in Malayalam cinema, bankrolled by Subaskaran, Antony Perumbavoor, and Gokulam Gopalan under their respective banners Lyca Productions, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Sree Gokulam Movies. It will have a simultaneous theatrical release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. Star producer Dil Raju’s SVC Cinemas will be distributing the film in the Telugu states.
