SHOPPERS are fuming after Cadbury Dairy Milk multipacks were cut from nine bars to seven for the same price.
The £3 packs which weighed 244.8g are down to 190.4g, so each bar costs an extra 10p.

A customer wrote: “Shrinkflation has got so bad the chocolate can stay on the shelf from this day onwards.”
We told this month how Cadbury Twirl packs had been cut from ten fingers to nine for the same price.
NetVoucherCodes’ Ellie Macsymons said: “Customers will, understandably, react negatively to Dairy Milk charging similar prices for 22 per cent less chocolate per product.
“Shrinkflation is causing loyal customers to feel frustrated because they are essentially getting less value for their money, especially from a trusted brand they have bought from for decades.
“However, while some customers may switch to chocolate brand alternatives that offer better value for money, it may be the case that there is a lot of ‘reluctant acceptance’ from dedicated Dairy Milk fans.
“The current shrinkflation situation may not entirely dissuade its customers, but if this trend continues, then there may be further fallout for the chocolate brand.”
Cadbury owner Mondelez blamed increases in cocoa and dairy prices plus rising transport and energy costs.
It said yesterday: “While we have absorbed these costs where possible, we still face considerable challenges.”
