The recalls keep piling on. This time around, nationwide brands like Lean Cuisine, Stouffer’s, Target’s Good & Gather, and 365 Whole Foods Market are on the stand. Find all the details below.

1. Target’s Good & Gather Cut Green Beans recalled due to possible foreign object contamination.

Target's Good & Gather Cut Green Beans

Del Monte Foods, Inc. has issued a recall for nearly 200,000 cans of cut green beans from Target’s in-house brand Good & Gather. An FDA notice states that the cans may contain a “foreign object,” though it doesn’t specify what.

The green beans were sold in 21 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Affected cans will bear the UPC number “0 85239-11628 9,” the Best if Used By date of “28 OCT 2026,” and the Lot number “7AA 418507.”

The FDA has categorized this as a Class II recall, which it defines as “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

2. Cheesecake sold at Target recalled due to undeclared pecans.

Target Favorite Day cheesecake

Dessert lovers with nut allergies, listen up! Dessert Holdings LLC is recalling a lot of its Favorite Day 6 oz./2-Count Gourmet New York Style Cheesecake due to “product mislabeling,” according to a report by the FDA. The product, which was sold at Target, contained undeclared pecans, posing a serious threat to those who may have a nut sensitivity or allergy.

The product in question was packaged in “clear plastic clam shells,” and sold at Target stores in California, Florida, Idaho, Ohio, and Texas between Feb. 14, 2025 and March 7, 2025. The recall affects Favorite Day cheesecakes bearing Lot Code “25028A1 000039133” and Universal Product Code (UPC) “0 85239 09690.”

“On 3/14/2025, the firm received a customer complaint that the product contained pecans, but the product label did not declare pecans. This issue has been corrected and no other manufacturing dates or lots are impacted,” reads the statement.

As of this writing, there have been no reported illnesses. The company asks that customers do not consume the dessert and contact Target Guest Relations for a refund.

Whole Foods macaroni and cheese bites

A Whole Foods customer was taken aback when they found mystery meat ingredients in frozen mac & cheese bites. Their complaint triggered a recall from C.H. Guenther & Son LLC, the distributor behind the 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese. It’s since been revealed that the product may also contain “undeclared eggs,” per an FDA report.

The 8.5-oz boxes were sold in the frozen food aisle at Whole Food Market Stores nationwide. Customers can verify whether their product has been impacted by referencing the UPC Code (99482499709) and Best-By Date (11/29/25). The small bites were available for purchase from Feb. 6, 2025, to March 11, 2025.

“Customers who have purchased ‘365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese’ with the Lot information listed above are urged to destroy any remaining product and can bring a valid receipt into the store for a full refund,” says the company.
