DUNNES Stores fans are rushing to buy a “flattering” new dress for spring after it landed on racks.
The Cotton Tie Side Jersey Midi Dress is available in stores and online now.

It costs just €20 and comes in sizes XS to XXL.
The retailer said: “Made from a soft and durable jersey cotton, this midi-length dress is designed with a self-tie side that creates a flattering fit.
“It features a classic round neckline and cap sleeves.”
The dress can be worn with flats or heels depending on the occasion.
Shoppers are also going wild over a major new blouse dupe – and it’s €65 cheaper.
The Savida Mia Gingham Collar Tie Blouse has just landed online and in shops around the country.
The statement piece is an affordable dupe of the popular fashion brand Damson Madder.
But the designer piece is sometimes priced as high as €90, leaving it out of reach for many shoppers.
Luckily, Dunnes Stores have come through with a bargain version, which is priced at only €25.
And it comes in sizes XXS up to XXL, with all sizes still available.
The bold blouse features a gingham pattern which is sure to add a pop of colour to any outfit.
It has long sleeves with a cuff at the end, as well as a huge collar for a bold look.
The front of the blouse is tied together with small bows, making it the ideal way to jump on the bow trend that’s huge right now.
It’s also from the exclusive Savida line, which is only available in Dunnes Stores.
And an over 40s fashion fan has tried new “belly friendly” jeans from Dunnes Stores for a “chic” casual look after they landed on racks.
Monica, @mon.fesa on Instagram, has alerted her followers to the new arrivals.
She said: “SAVIDA EFFORTLESS CHIC LOOK.
“Can you believe that their pieces are getting better by the day?
“Mix the amazing red jumper with the drawstring jeans for an effortless chic outfit for everyday wear.
“And they are @dunnesstores in the @savida.ds section. Let me know what you think…”
THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 – and it was an instant hit.
Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”
Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
