And Dunelm has a dupe of Piglet In Bed’s – the posh linen duvet brand – striped set for a fraction of the price.
Dunelm’s The Linen Yard Hebden Reversible 100% Cotton Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set is both “soft and hard-wearing” with a 144 thread count.
Its striped design is “timeless” and “features a reversible subtle melange striped print for a textured appearance”.
It comes in six colourways; Pecan, Grey, Green, Blush, Navy and Natural.
And shoppers can choose from four bedding sizes; single, double, king or super king, priced from £24 to £44.
Included in the set are standard pillowcases and the duvet covers feature button closure for easy removal, and are machine washable.
Compared to Piglet in Bed, its Sandstone Red Pembroke Stripe Linen Blend Duvet Cover stars at £139 for the single set.
The double is £189, the king £199 and super king £209.
Based on a double duvet, Dunelm’s version is £155 cheaper.
Piglet in Bed does have a larger range of colours and patterns to choose from and is made from a blend of 55% linen/45% cotton compared to Dunelm’s 100% cotton.

Someone said: “Excellent quality and style. Bedroom looks wonderful.”
Another wrote: “This bedding is soooo nice! Soft but crisp, if that’s possible. Washes well and looks expensive.”
A third customer said it was “great quality and comfortable”.
Their review read: “I love this duvet set and will be buying another from this make. It’s very good quality, very comfy and soft. It has a luxurious feel to it which makes it very snuggly.”

Despite being 100% cotton and prone to creasing, one shopper said it required “minimal ironing”. Win-win on bed-changing day!

The year of the stripe
Last year, interiors opened the door to warm, vibrant colours like buttery yellow and Moroccan-inspired hues.
So this year, interiors are experimenting with bolder trends and palettes both indoors and outdoors, making way for maximalism.
A key pattern in maximalism is stripes; they can serve as decorative accents or impactful focal points.
And because the pattern is versatile, it’s never out of fashion.
Within the home, you can embrace them all at once, clashing against one another, or take a more subtle, gradual approach, and harmonise them with other trends.
