CORONATION Street’s Charlotte Jordan is leaving the UK for a money-spinning new job after her soap exit.
Charlotte, 29, best known for playing Daisy Midgley on the ITV soap, has signed up for a tell-all live show just weeks after quitting her old job amid its cash crisis.

She’s expected to reveal behind-the-scenes secrets when she embarks on a Coronation Street-themed tour of Canada next month.
The actress will also be joined by fellow Corrie star Sally Ann Matthews for the Jenny & Daisy Rovers Return live gigs.
During the events, the pair will discuss their experiences of working on the iconic show as well as revealing backstage secrets.
Tickets for the shows cost around £40 per person.
Diehard fans will also be able to fork out an extra £60 to get up close and personal with the pair and pose for selfies with them afterwards.
Charlotte and Sally-Ann are the latest cast members looking to boost their earnings by signing up for live stage appearances.
Last month, The Sun revealed how show favourite Joe Duttine was charging fans up to £60 to hear him chat all things Corrie during his one man live show.
Samia Longchambon has signed up to appear at An Audience With… style event in the summer too.
Charlotte is just one of many who are set to leave the soap in the coming months following news of budget cuts.
Up-to seventy-five cast and crew are also set to lose their jobs over the coming weeks and months after ITV announced further cuts.
Charlotte exclusively told us earlier this year that she wants to explore new opportunities.
“My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish,” she said at the time.
“It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.
“After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.”
Since arriving in 2020, Daisy has been part of the soap’s biggest moments including her stalking ordeal and a plot which saw her take over the Rovers with stolen money.
She won the British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance after Daisy was the victim of a wedding day acid attack by Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still).
At Christmas, Daisy discovered she was pregnant with the baby of ex Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) or new lover Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
After lying to Daniel that it was his baby, Daisy suffered a miscarriage and revealed that Kit was the true father.
Coronation Street’s 2024 shock exits

Corrie has said goodbye to several cast members this year. Let’s break down who’s left the famous soap:
Eliza Woodrow (Savannah Kunyo) has said farewell to Corrie to start a new life in Germany.
The youngster moved to live with her dad Dom Everett, who went back on the £10,000 bribe Eliza’s grandfather Stu had offered to keep him out of her life.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) will bow out of the soap this summer when he loses his fight with motor neurone disease (MND) in tragic scenes.
After being diagnosed last year, the fan favourite was devastated to learn he only had months left to live.
Viewers know he is planning to take his own life to end his suffering.
Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) departed the cobbles after being offered the opportunity of a lifetime to study in America.
Though she struggled to decide with her stepdad Paul’s impending death from MND, she was convinced she had to live her life to the full.
Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) has struggled with the sudden departure of his father Peter from the cobbles.
The Weatherfield legend left his family and loved ones behind on Boxing Day, 2023, when his wife Carla Connor encouraged him to travel around the world with a friend.
Simon’s been on a downward spiral ever since and his exit could end in tragedy.
Alya Nazir is set to leave the cobbles as actress Sair Khan prepares to go on maternity leave ahead of the birth of her first child.
It looks likely she’ll be heading to Dublin after securing a lucrative new job, leaving her colleague and fling Adam Barlow behind.
Show stalwart Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, is taking a break to star in the Sister Act The Musical UK tour. She will be back filming in May once her dates on the tour come to an end.
Her character left the Street after her son Jason broke his back after falling off a moped in Asia.
She has reunited with Daniel since as her exit storyline kicks into gear.
A source said yesterday: “Charlotte wrapped her time on the cobbles and had a leaving party recently.
“It was very lowkey as she wanted. She’ll be very missed.”
“Charlotte has loved her time on the cobbles but is young, ambitious and hungry to see what else is out there for her.
“She told bosses last April that her next contract would be her last, giving them a year to craft an exciting exit storyline.”
