I mean, in the previous seasons, Anthony was kind of just a jerk and that was kind of it, you know he was just kind of this annoying little brat, and I think, one thing season 4 did really well was that it kind of made you see, that’s not all he is. He is kind of just under this weird pressure within his friend group to act like that.
Santopietro was happy with the way his character’s arc turned out. The creators didn’t change Anthony overnight, but it was a gradual process of us “getting to know him better.” We saw his internal struggles and his heartfelt attempt to apologize to Kenny for his actions, where he truly grows as a person.

Cobra Kai was a career-defining series for many actors that starred in it and a launching pad for new faces. After its mind-blowing finale, Griffin Santopietro wants to take things up a notch and join the ranks of superheroes in DCEU or MCU.
I have a list, so I would start with like, you know DC, especially with the new Batman movie coming out like obviously a robin would be, I think it would be really great. And I know, Tom Holland’s already there with Spider-Man, I think we’re getting a lot of new characters with Marvel, I think Wiccan would be really interesting character.
It’s his love for comic books that draws him to play these characters on screen, and it isn’t just a pipe dream but a reflection of his desire to be a part of character-driven narratives. The experience he gained from Cobra Kai has prepared him for the physical demands that come with playing a superhero.
Plus, working alongside seasoned actors like Ralph Macchio for years has allowed him to hone his craft and deliver as an actor. As Santopietro looks to the future, we can’t help but imagine him suiting up as a superhero.
