16 hours agoNews TalkComments Off on Andorra vs England LIVE SCORE: Three Lions look to quicken tempo as they chase opener in World Cup qualifier – updates
ENGLAND are currently struggling to break down Group K opponents Andorra in what has been a cagey World Cup qualifier so far.
Jude Bellingham and Noni Madueke have forced goalkeeper Alvarez to make a couple of relatively comfortable saves from distance.
While captain Harry Kane fluffed his lines from close range.
But besides that, it has been a lacklustre performance from the Three Lions, and Thomas Tuchel could look to make some changes.

ENGLAND were booed off at half-time following their boring first-half display against Andorra.
The Three Lions endured a toothless first-half against a side ranked 153rd in the world.

Inevitable boos rang out at the break with England failing to score in a near-empty stadium.
Thomas Tuchel’s side couldn’t do much with their 73 per cent possession, 10 shots, eight corners and 17 crosses.
Jude Bellingham has had three of England’s four shots on target.
Fans were less than impressed with the display that they had witnessed after the whistle signalled the end of the first half.
The players were booed off the pitch by the few travelling supporters.
As they made their way down the tunnel jeers from the stands could be heard.
Captain Harry Kane went the closest and should’ve really put Tuchel’s men ahead after stabbing Noni Madueke’s low cross wide.

A GROUP of disabled people who visited Leinster House to deliver accessibility training ended up being “trapped” after a lift broke down.
They said they were “astonished” at how inaccessible the building was after their visit to Dublin last year.
In an email, they described accessible toilets that weren’t large enough to cater for wheelchairs, buses being refused access to drop off people with mobility issues, and a broken-down lift that left five members “stranded”.
They told the head of the Oireachtas that members were stuck on a corridor and “very embarrassed” as able-bodied people had to “edge” their way past them on their way to offices or lunch.
A message said: “From the very start, we encountered barriers and exclusion.”
The visit was made by members of the HSE Gold Star Disability Awareness Training programme and volunteers from Tipperary last June on the invitation of an Oireachtas member.
In the email, they said the room where they delivered their training session was inaccessible on “a number of disability access levels”.
When members tried to go downstairs to the restaurant, one lift broke down and another was out of service.
The email said: “The lift to offer access to the lower corridor en route to the restaurant broke down when we had five people safely down, leaving others stranded at the top.”
The message continued: “Every person there was tired, embarrassed, disappointed, hungry and let down once more in terms of their rights to universal access and the dignity of using a toilet privately.”
It said these were just some of the issues that needed to be addressed and asked for a meeting with Oireachtas management.
In response, the Clerk of the Dail Peter Finnegan expressed his “sincere apologies” for how the visit had unfolded.
He said: “We fell well short of the standards that people are entitled to expect when they visit their National Parliament.”

THE WARM and wet weather is the perfect conditions for slugs, with the persistent pest chomping away at gardeners precious plants.
Fruit and veg are all targets for slugs who emerge at night to eat leaves.
GettySlugs will chop leaves and destroy the plants chance of growing big and strong[/caption]
Slugs love hot, humid and wet weather forecast for the UKMET Office
They love the night and high humidity but hide during the day.
With wet weather forecast for the weekend, gardeners are preparing for super slug damage.
There are a number of DIY slug hacks all gardeners have tried, including cucumber, tea towels and copper tape.
We can’t wait to try this low-cost, 100% organic hack from the King’s senior gardener Jack Stook.
The organic and home-made slug catcher has the royal seal of approval – but with a paupers price tag.
All you’ll need are some common kitchen ingredients and a container.
How to create your DIY slug trap
To create your DIY slug trap you’ll need some yeast and sugar, and a container to create your slug trap.
To save money, you can use the base of a bottle with the top cut off.
Simply mix a tablespoon of yeast and a tablespoon of sugar to water and pour into the container.
When you’re done, bury the container in the soil with the lid exposed to catch any slugs sliding by.
How does the DIY slug trap work?
It works, because slugs are attracted to the yeast.
By mixing yeast, sugar and water you create a frothy and fermented mixture that slugs love.
This hack is so popular because it’s low cost and creates no waste.
OK, so keen gardeners will spot that it’s not entirely new.
Gardeners have been using the beer trap for centuries. Slugs have always preferred the leftovers of a pint to precious plants.
This DIY slug hack achieves the same result – but saves you from cracking open a can.
Leave the container exposed for the evening and you’ll come back to your very own slug pub in the morning.
The smell of the fermenting liquid can prove hugely popular so don’t be surprised if you wake to see a container full of drunk critters.
You can remove the slugs and replace the mixture as often as you need to.
Your outdoor beast brewery is cheaper and better than pouring away good beer.
It’s a DIY slug trap that we can all raise a toast to.

Why having slugs in your garden is a good thing
Yes, they chomp your precious plants, but having slugs in your garden should be celebrated.
“We’ve been conditioned as a society to believe we must have gardens with straight edges, short lawns with pretty stripes and perfect borders with flowers constantly blooming.
But unruly hedgerows, abundance of tall wildflowers buzzing with insects, and bugs and slugs galore in flowerbeds is totally natural – and necessary.
I understand that your plants might be very precious to you, but we need slugs and snails. They provide food for all sorts of mammals, birds, slow worms, earthworms, insects – and they are part of the natural balance.
By removing them, we upset the ecosystem and can do a lot of harm – thrushes in particular thrive on them!
It is said British Gardeners use some 650 billion slug pellets per year! Please find a natural alternative – the poison from slug pellets enters the food chain and can kill hedgehogs, who consider slugs and snails as a tasty treat.
If you’re truly desperate, consider using Diatomaceous Earth – it is a naturally occurring compound approved for organic use, that can be used for pest control.
And while you’re at it, challenge yourself to grow “sacrificial plants”.
Sacrificial planting, commonly known as trap cropping, is the deliberate act of growing plants to attract pests. Pick a slugs favourite vegetable or ornamental plant for them to nibble on, and they will leave your more precious plants alone.”
What happens to the slugs?
The slugs in your DIY trap will drown in fermenting liquid (but it’s not a bad way to go).
If you’re searching for a more humane way to rid your garden of slugs, you can head out at night when it’s wet and humid and collect them in a bucket.
Once you’re happy you’ve got them all, you can take them someone safe, like a grassy or wooded area and set them free.
16 hours agoNews TalkComments Off on My hair was damaged from bleach but now it’s so thick and long – it’s all thanks to the simple weekly step I never miss
A WOMAN has shared the weekly routine she swears by to keep her locks healthy and thick.
Fleur Green, from the UK, took to social media to share the routine and the hair oils she swears by.
Fleur shared how she got her damaged hair thick and long againtiktok.com/@fleureleanorgreenShe swore by two oils to keep her hair in good conditiontiktok.com/@fleureleanorgreen
In the clip, she said: “I’ve gone from essentially a long bleached blonde, snapped off bob to Rapunzel.”
“I’m gonna show you the products which I’ve used consistently, which has helped me achieve this,” Fleur added.
First, the hair whizz gave her hair a brush to get rid of any tangles.
Next, she took two hair oils – rosemary and batana oil and blended them together.
She put them in a hair oiling tool that allows you to comb it through your scalp with ease.
“Batana oil is super rich in antioxidants and fatty acids,” she explained.
“So if you’re somebody like me who used to suffer with super dry, brittle hair, or like you’ve run your fingers through it and it’d be super prone to snapping off, this cocktail of hair oils is gonna be amazing for you.”
Fleur used Nature’s Spells hair oils, which are already diluted to make them safe to apply to the scalp.
She evenly applied the oil to her scalp before using her fingers to massage it in and promote blood circulation.
Any leftover oil was then applied to the ends of her hair.
Fleur then went on to use a hair mask on the rest of her hair before putting it into a low ponytail and letting the products sit for a few hours.
The beauty fan said the combination had kept her hair thick and healthy and people were eager to try it out.
The clip went viral on her TikTok account @fleureleanorgreen with over 2.5 million views.
One person wrote: “You got me to get the batana oil, I’ve noticed the difference already.”
Hair loss tips
We can lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, according to the NHS.
It is not usually something to worry about, but occasional it can be a sign of a medical concern.
These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.
The NHS advises to book an appointment with your GP to see if you can get to the cause of it.
Wilder, 39, faces Tyrrell Herndon in Kansas on June 27 and Frank Smith – CEO of Matchroom Boxing who promote AJ – says a fight with Joshua is possible.
He told Boxing News: “Do you know what fight I love? If he comes through his warm-up, Deontay Wilder.
“This sport is about narrative. It’s about buying into fights that people have interest in and that’s a fight that everyone would still have interest in.
“Regardless of whether it didn’t happen five years ago, people still want to see it now. So hopefully he can come through his fight.”
Dillian Whyte was mentioned as another potential option for Joshua – who won their bout in 2015 by stoppage.
They were due to rematch in 2023 but it was cancelled after Whyte, 37, returned an “adverse finding” in his drug testing.

He has since boxed in Gibraltar and Ireland landing underwhelming wins.
And with Tyson Fury, 36, still retired off the back of two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, 38, AJ has been left to look elsewhere for an opponent.
Smith added: “There’s so many options out there. It just also depends on what he wants to do, if he wants to go for the world title again.
“What does he want to chase? Tyson Fury is a name that obviously we’ve spoken about a million times but it gets boring after a while saying the same thing.
“So let’s get him back in the gym, get him fit, get him active, get him ready and then we’ll go from there.”
